The dam once had water before as one of the biggest dams in Mpumalanga, due to droughts the dam lost it's value by becoming dry for the first time after a while. People in the area lost hope in it and started complaining to the Municipality concerning water shortage others started protesting against the municipality for poor service delivery, yet the problem is not the municipality. The big question remains unanswered until today.

This dam became alive again after being dry for over 2 years.

The nature is responsible for everything on earth, but people are not aware and cannot study the ancestral system on avoiding disappointments, this is hard to be found especially during current generation.
